For positive:

especially after the time we have has since March 2020, it is crucial that we are doing all we can to retain our good teachers; in our own schools and in the profession generally!

Noo Thinking is well equipped to support schools in any aspect of staff, pupil, family and community experience and engagement and change management practices.

If you would like to discuss any aspects of effective working, staff engagement, change management practices or school improvement, why not book a free, initial consultation.

Pre-existing Training and support Offers

Support for individuals

Wouldn’t it be nice to have someone to talk to, whom you are not accountable to, someone to run ideas by, ask for advice and help you to untangle your thinking.

Wouldn’t it be helpful to be able to tell someone that you are feeling a little overwhelmed at the moment, and not have it setting alarms bells off. Sometimes, we just need someone to listen and help us prioritise, or see things a little more objectively and in proportion.

Noo Thinking can offer a totally confidential support for any individual member of staff at school. This can be away from school and commissioned privately by an individual, or commissioned by school and take place at school. This is available for any member of support staff, teachers or senior staff. This can be by telephone, video conferencing or face-to-face meetings.

Targeted support to improve performance

Sometimes a senior leader or teacher will need an individual programme of support to improve their performance. There may not be the capacity in school to offer this, or it may be more beneficial to bring in someone external. Noo Thinking can offer this service.

It may be for your school, or group of schools, that support is needed to improve the performance of a targeted group. This could be at senior or middle management level, staff of a specific phase, administrative or premises staff, governors, or, for example, help may be needed to improve parental engagement or relationships.

If you would like to discuss any aspects supporting individuals or targeted groups at school, why not book a free, initial consultation.

Extra capacity:

“Giving Time to Leaders”

On many occasions, the skills that are needed for any task are already in school, but we just do not have the time to address everything to the standard we would like, and within the time available. Noo Thinking can offer extra skills and capacity for discrete pieces of work, when you need them and how you want them.

We have extensive experience of project management.

“Addressing the Workload Elephant”

The DfE and OfSTED have referred to the need to address teacher workload. OfSTED has published guidance and reassurances and the DfE have published a toolkit to help.

Workload discussions should involve all stakeholders and, however positive the relationship between senior leaders and their staff, these can be tricky conversations and discussions to navigate.

Noo Thinking can provide expert and experienced facilitation and venue and accommodation services for any focus, so that senior staff can be part of the reflection too.
